Question 1

How much does drone spraying cost in West Virginia?

Accepted Answer

Most jobs in WV run $14–$25 per acre depending on field size, terrain, and what's being applied. Steep or irregular fields — common in the Ohio River valley and Appalachian foothills — may run toward the higher end. We charge a minimum per visit to cover mobilization. Call us with your acreage and we'll give you a straight number.

Question 2

Can drones spray on steep or hilly terrain?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's one of the biggest advantages over ground equipment in WV, OH, and PA. Our drones fly at a fixed height above the canopy regardless of slope, so coverage stays consistent on hillsides and terraced fields where a ground rig would struggle or can't go at all.

Question 3

Are you licensed to apply pesticides by drone in West Virginia?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We hold FAA Part 107 remote pilot certification and carry the required West Virginia commercial pesticide applicator licensing for aerial application. We're fully insured and operate in compliance with WV Department of Agriculture requirements.

Question 4

What counties do you serve in West Virginia?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Mason County and regularly work throughout the WV side of the Ohio River valley — Mason, Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln, Putnam, Jackson, Roane, and surrounding counties. We also cross into Gallia, Meigs, and Lawrence counties in Ohio, and reach into southwestern Pennsylvania. Not sure if you're in range? Call us.

Question 5

What crops and applications do you handle?

Accepted Answer

We apply herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and liquid fertilizers on corn, soybeans, wheat, hay, pasture, and specialty crops. We also do cover crop seeding, aerial imaging passes, and soil sampling. If you need it applied from the air, we can likely do it.

Question 6

How fast can you get to my fields?

Accepted Answer

We typically turn quotes around within 24 hours. Pasture spraying scheduling opens January 1 for the season — get on the calendar early. Crop applications take priority during the season due to time sensitivity, so crop jobs will be scheduled ahead of pasture work when windows are tight. Call us early and we'll lock in your spot.
